By accessing or using any part of the RoleStack platform (including our website at https://www.rolestack.ai, mobile applications, browser extensions, APIs, or any other RoleStack product or service), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our services. Your continued use of our platform following the posting of revised Terms means you accept and agree to the changes.
If you are using RoleStack on behalf of an organization or company, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to "you" will include both you personally and that organization.

RoleStack acts as a job search agent - we do not guarantee employment outcomes but strive to maximize each user's chances of securing interviews and job offers through intelligent, high-volume, targeted outreach.
To use RoleStack's services, you must:
RoleStack is intended for individuals actively seeking employment opportunities. Our platform is not intended for use by staffing agencies, recruiters, or employers to source candidates, unless a separate written agreement exists with RoleStack for such purposes.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. RoleStack reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
To access RoleStack's core features, you must register for an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information including your full name, email address, and a secure password. You may optionally provide a LinkedIn profile URL to enhance your experience. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your registration information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
RoleStack will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
Each individual may maintain only one active RoleStack account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit free trials, bypass restrictions, or for any fraudulent purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.
You agree that all information you provide to RoleStack - including resume content, professional history, skills, and job preferences - is truthful and accurate. RoleStack is not responsible for the consequences of inaccurate information being submitted to potential employers on your behalf.
RoleStack offers the following subscription plans. All prices are in USD and billed monthly unless otherwise specified:

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your billing cycle begins on the date you first subscribe (or on the date your free trial converts to a paid subscription). Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. RoleStack does not store your full credit card details on its servers.
By providing a payment method, you authorize RoleStack to charge you the applicable subscription fee on each billing date. You agree to keep your payment information accurate and up to date. If a payment fails, RoleStack may retry the charge and, after repeated failures, suspend or downgrade your account until payment is resolved.
RoleStack reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases via email to your registered email address and/or in-app notification. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period. Continued use of the service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
Paid subscribers may purchase additional AI application credits as needed. Credit add-on packages (e.g., 10 credits for $5.00) are available within your account dashboard. Purchased credits do not expire for the duration of an active paid subscription but are forfeited upon subscription cancellation or account termination.
Displayed prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying any applicable sales tax, GST, VAT, or other governmental taxes imposed on your subscription. Where required by law, RoleStack will collect and remit applicable taxes on your behalf.
New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial upon account registration. The free trial provides access to a limited set of RoleStack's features so you can evaluate the platform before subscribing.
The free trial may have feature limitations compared to paid plans, including reduced AI application credits, limited resume tailoring capabilities, or restricted access to certain automation features. RoleStack reserves the right to determine the scope of features available during the trial period.
We stand behind our platform. If you subscribe to our Premium plan and genuinely engage with the job application process - approving and applying to all assigned jobs - but do not receive any interview invitation within your first 30 days, you may be eligible for a full refund of your first month's subscription fee. This guarantee reflects our confidence in the value RoleStack delivers.
A refund of the first monthly subscription fee may be granted only when all five of the following conditions are met simultaneously:
Premium Plan Subscription
You must be an active subscriber on the Premium plan at $99.99/month. This refund policy does not apply to the Basic ($9.99/month) or any other pricing tier. Activation code users are not eligible for this refund.
No Interview Secured Within 30 Days
You must not have received any confirmed interview invitation - including phone screens, video interviews, technical assessments, or any other formal interview stage - from any employer within the first 30 calendar days of your Premium subscription start date. If you receive an interview from any source during this period (including through RoleStack or independently), you are no longer eligible for a refund.
Active Approval of All Assigned Jobs
You must have actively reviewed and approved every job opportunity presented to you by RoleStack during the 30-day period. Jobs assigned to your account must not be left in a pending or unreviewed state. Inaction, delayed review, or ignoring assigned jobs renders you ineligible for this refund, as your engagement is essential for our AI to optimize on your behalf.
Active Application to All Approved Jobs
All jobs that you approved must have been actively applied to through the RoleStack platform during the 30-day period. Approved jobs left in an unapplied state, or applications withdrawn by you before submission, disqualify you from the refund. Our systems track application submissions and statuses - only confirmed, submitted applications count toward eligibility.
Refund Request Within 30-Day Window
Your refund request must be submitted within the 30-day window from your Premium subscription start date. Requests submitted after the 30-day period has elapsed will not be considered, regardless of circumstances.

RoleStack will review your request within 5–7 business days and verify eligibility against your account's job approval and application records. Our support team may reach out with follow-up questions.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of subscription. Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or card issuer. RoleStack is not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.

Note: RoleStack reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or repeated refund attempts. False claims regarding interview status or job application activity to obtain a refund may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to appropriate legal authorities.
You may cancel your RoleStack subscription at any time, without penalty, directly from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately - no cancellation fees, no complicated procedures, and no need to contact support unless you have questions.
Upon cancellation, your subscription's auto-renewal is disabled immediately. You will not be charged again for a new billing cycle. No further charges will be made to your payment method after the cancellation is confirmed.
Cancelling your subscription does not immediately terminate your access to RoleStack's paid features. You will retain full access to all features included in your current plan through the end of your current paid billing period.
Example: If your Premium plan renews on the 1st of each month and you cancel on the 15th, you will continue to have full Premium access through the end of that month (the 1st of the following month). No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing cycle.
After your paid period ends, your account will be downgraded to a free/read-only state. Your data, profile, resume, and job history will be preserved for a period of 90 days, giving you the opportunity to resubscribe. After 90 days of inactivity on a cancelled account, RoleStack may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time by selecting a new plan from your account's subscription settings. Reactivating will begin a new billing cycle from the reactivation date. Previous usage history and account data (if within the 90-day retention window) will be restored.
RoleStack does not offer proration for mid-cycle cancellations. If you cancel your subscription partway through a billing cycle, you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of that cycle, except as provided under the Refund Policy in Section 7.
You agree to use RoleStack only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Violations of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of any remaining subscription period without refund, and, where applicable, legal action. RoleStack reserves the right to report fraudulent or illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities.
The RoleStack platform, including all software, algorithms, AI models, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, service marks, text, graphics, and all other content provided by RoleStack, is the exclusive property of RoleStack and its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in or to RoleStack's intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform solely for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to RoleStack, including your resume, work history, cover letter preferences, and profile information (collectively, "Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant RoleStack a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the services described in these Terms.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content, and that Your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights or violate any applicable laws.
RoleStack uses artificial intelligence to generate customized resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials on your behalf. While this content is derived from Your Content and generated for your use, you acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may not always be perfectly accurate and should be reviewed by you prior to submission. RoleStack is not responsible for inaccuracies in AI-generated materials.
You are solely responsible for all content you upload, submit, or transmit through RoleStack. This includes your resume, professional history, job preferences, feedback, and any other materials you provide. By submitting content, you affirm that:
RoleStack reserves the right to remove or refuse any content that violates these Terms or that RoleStack deems inappropriate in its sole discretion, without prior notice to you.
RoleStack integrates with and relies on various third-party services to deliver its platform, including:
These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. RoleStack is not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations (such as connecting your LinkedIn profile) is subject to those parties' terms and conditions.
RoleStack may link to or display content from external websites. Such links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement or responsibility for the linked content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ROLESTACK PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF DEALING.
Without limiting the foregoing, RoleStack expressly disclaims any and all warranties regarding:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ROLESTACK, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ALL CASES, ROLESTACK'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO ROLESTACK IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full. In such cases, RoleStack's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoleStack, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription (see Section 8) and then contacting us at support@rolestack.ai to request account deletion. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
RoleStack reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the platform, with or without notice, in the event of:
Upon termination (whether by you or by RoleStack), your right to access and use the platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination - including Sections 10, 13, 14, 15, and 17 - shall survive. RoleStack has no obligation to maintain or provide access to your data after termination.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting RoleStack at legal@rolestack.ai with a written description of your claim. RoleStack will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice. If the dispute is not resolved informally within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal dispute resolution.
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of RoleStack's services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the State of Delaware, and you hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RoleStack.
RoleStack reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice to you via:
Your continued use of RoleStack's platform after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the platform and cancel your subscription.
